FENDER JAZZMASTER, 1962

sunburst, excellent condition and 100% original. Neck date 1962 (curved board), pots date 1961, serial number 97xxx. Spaghetti logo, brazilian rosewood board with clay-dots. Figured maple neck and headstock. Very beautiful guitar in great shape: some belt-buckle wear, a little playing wear here and there, back of neck shows a little more wear but overall condition is really excellent. Every detail is original, from Strat-style knobs to Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners, from tortoise pickguard to 3-tone sunburst finish. No paint-stick mark on the neck-pocket yet, unlike the slightly later '63 you see in our archive. Great sound, nice playability, frets are a little worn but still ok. Lots of fretboard wear (see pics), but it doesn't affect playability in any way. When we purchased this guitar, the connection between the neck pickup and the upper-body's controls for 'rhythm' preset sound was interrupted, but it has been correctly re-connected at our shop, using correct wire and tape.  Mary's signature on the shielding under the pickguard. One of the earliest post-slab Jazzmasters, gorgeous and great-sounding, a 1st choice for both the player and the collector.
Comes with the rare original Brown Tolex hardshell case, one of the latest ones, in excellent conditions. Please open pics ONE AT A TIME.
